Tulip Garden in Kashmir is located in the Srinagar city of Kashmir. It is also known as Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden. It is located next to Botinical Garden. Its location is breathtaking surrounded by colossal mountains of zabarwan with dal lake on the foots. It expands over an area of 30 hectares of land. It consists of over 60 varieties of tulips also know as ‘Gulelala’ hi Kashmir language.
Tulip Garden is not only one of Asia’s largest gardens, but it also has a variety of flower species other than tulips, such as daffodils, hyacinths, roses, muscaria, iris, and rammeuli. These beautiful flowers bloom around the end of March, creating a rainbow of hues. To allure tourists, there are seven terraces, each with a distinct species of flowers, particularly tulips.
